Licensing ≠ appointment

A state license means you’re allowed to sell insurance in that state (subject to that state’s rules). An appointment is a carrier’s authorization to offer their products. You can be licensed somewhere and still not have active appointments — Florida is that situation right now. Product availability always depends on license and appointment and underwriting.
